A visit to Portsmouth Dockyard to see the NEW building housing the
The ship is viewed from three different levels with each level also depicting what was on the area you are you are looking at.
All item on display were recovered from the ship and are VERY well displayed.
Each level also has a separate area that tell the story of the Mary Rose and again actual ship items on display.
The views of the Mary Rose are spectacular from each of the three levels and a bonus is a lift that has a panoramic window to see the ship from a different angle.
Also well worth seeing are HMS Warrior and HMS Victory.
There are also many building containing Royal Navy exhibits, places to eat, gift shops, harbour tours and activity centres.
I also visited an excellent second hand shop with many navy oriented items for sale where the owner was open to reasonable offers for items on sale.
